Lake County Enters COVID-19 Recovery Phase

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. – Lake County today enters Phase 3, the Recovery Phase, of Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker’s Restore Illinois Plan, as COVID-19 cases appear to have stabilized.

According to the plan, Phase 3 allows manufacturing facilities, offices, retail stores, barber shops, and hair and nail salons to reopen to the public, with capacity limits, provided other restrictions and safety precautions are in place for those businesses.

Additionally, bars and restaurants can re-open for outdoor seating only. Other outdoor activities, like boating and camping, will be capped at a 10-person gathering limit.
